The New Haven Network for Public Education, Inc. (formerly the New Haven Public Education Fund) was created as an initiative of The Community Foundation for Greater New Haven in 1986 in response to concerns the New Haven community has expressed regarding public education.
In 1992, the initiative was established as a non-profit 501c3 agency with support from an endowment fund from The Community Foundation.
The Network became part of a growing number of Public Education and Local Education Funds throughout the nation. Today it is one of the senior members .. read more
